Welcome to Homelands Publications.

We're a  West Auckland, New Zealand based publishing group, comprising Elsa Clark, Steve Edwards and Charles Pierard, established in 2020 to bring to your ears the amazing story of Elsa's father, Gerry Clark's perseverance, courage and steadfastness, in his 44 month journey, from 1984, in his 10 metre home-built yacht, "Totorore".  

Gerry sailed through often hostile sub Antarctic waters counting, and gathering scientific data on, the diverse and often endangered seabirds of the region, with a small, intrepid crew, facing adventures, crises and moments of extraordinary redemption most could only read about.

From his logs and his memoir on the expedition, he published in 1988, his book, "The Totorore Voyage". 

It is our intention to source further tales of maritime adventure and present them, here, on this platform, to establish a virtual library on the subject for your pleasure and entertainment
